Top Loader Update
I have found a solvant adhesive to connect the edges of the trimmed down toploaders. You can purchase it from Max Plumhoff in Indiana at 1-574-272-8695. Max will explain to you just how to use it when you call in your order. The product is called WeldOn #3 and WeldOn #16

Top Loaders For Master Game Sheets(Pages)
Ideas for the 'old fashioned' APBA player who prefers the playboards to the bound booklet for the Master Baseball game.
1. You will need two(2) game bookets or have the capability to duplicate the one you have.
2. Separate the binder from the game board pages. Cut the hole off of each page and organize the game situation sheets in order. Example: Bases Empty top and bottom, runner on first base top and bottom and soforth for each base situation including the RP boards.
3. Purchase three sheets of 32" X 40" mattboard 1/16" thick and cut out eight pieces that measure 14 1/16" X 19 3/4 "
4. Use Scotch brand two sided poster tape (The thin stuff) and attach the play board pages to the mattboard on both sides as follows.
Mattboard #1 Bases empty on one side and runner on first base on the other
" #2 Runner on second and runner on third
" #3 Runners on first and second and runners on first and third
" #4 Runners on second and third and bases full
" #5 RP board for same situation as board #1
" #6 " " " " " " " #2
" #7 " " " " " " " #3
" #8 " " " " " " " #4
5. From the third piece of mattboard cut out pieces for the diamond playboard (if you use it) and the dropped throws board and defense dice roll board and tape them to the mattboard.
6. BCW carries 16" X 20" toploaders that work great to place the playboards into to protect them permantley. If you do not like the excess on the sides after placing the playboards into the toploader, you can use a sharp razerblade knife and a straightedge and trim the hard sid off of one side and them trim the rest of the plastic on that side to give you about 1/2" to 5/8" excess on that side. Trim the hard side to fit along the trimmed side leaving about 1/2 inch open at the bottom to allow for the limited space at the bottom where the bottom and side come together. Very carefully use superglue to attach the hard side in between the two sides of plastic to form a permanate edge. Trimming a toploader to fit the diamond and dropped throws and defense boards will work the same way.
Note: I am 55 years old and my eyesight isn't what it used to be so I scanned the master symbols and enlarged them by 213% and printed them out and placed them in a BCW 6" X 9" toploader.
If any of you have any questions about this process feel free to drop me a line at mdmmarketing@comcast.net. I can send you pictures of my setup upon request.
There are several toploader manufacturers around, but I found the BCW product, as far as quality and price, to be my choice. They are made from PVC material making then very easy the cut and glue. For info about BCW you can go to bcwdiversified.com or call 1-765-644-2033 and ask for Diane. Tell her I referred you and she will know exactly what you are looking for.
NOTE: See slideshow for my set-up.

Welcome
I am starting this discussion blog for the die-hard APBA Master Game players as well as the beginners. I have played APBA baseball since 1967 and was there when the master game was born and it truly changed my life as far as baseball board games go. I hope this form will assist those looking for answers and enrich our love of the game.
